Wallace Community College - Dothan Receives $400,000 Appropriation from Dothan City Commission

On February 2, 2016,  the Dothan City Commission approved an appropriation of $400,000 ($100,000 per year for the next four years) to Wallace Community College - Dothan to support the purchase of clinical equipment for the college's new Health Science Building. 

"This appropriation will greatly enhance the learning environment in our incredible new facility, and we are so appreciative of Mayor Mike Schmitz, City Manager Mike West, and the Dothan City Commission," commented Wallace State President Dr. Linda Young.   "The Commission unanimously approved the appropriation recommendation, and the College is delighted that the Commissioners have invested financially in the College."

"This level of support demonstrates that our city’s leaders truly understand the impact Wallace Community College has on Dothan and the Wiregrass," Young added.
