Accommodations are available upon request for candidates who have a disability that requires a change to the usual way testing is done. Request for Testing Accommodation forms may be obtained by the candidate from the local official GED Test Center or can be downloaded (select from Forms List below).

The GED candidate will need to submit one original Request for Testing Accommodations to the GED Chief Examiner at the local testing center with all the necessary documentation. The documentation should be comprehensive and must indicate how the disability substantially limits some major life activity such as seeing, hearing or learning
