I took the GED Test in another state, will Alabama accept my scores?
Alabama will consider accepting your GED Test if you were administered the complete battery of the 2002 version of the test in another state or U.S. Territory and will retest at an Alabama Official Test Center. Only an Official Report of Scores or an Official Transcript of GED Tests Results submitted by the state or territory's GED Administrator to Alabama's GED Administrator will be considered. Scores submitted by the candidate or scores that resulted from the administration of a previous version of the GED Test will not be considered for possible award of the State of Alabama High School Equivalency Diploma. Applicants will be required to pay a $5 (U.S.) processing fee. The DPE will only accept money orders or certified checks; however, walk-ins may pay with exact cash.
