
The Executive Division includes the Chancellor’s Office. The Executive Division
supports the Chancellor's leadership of the Department and the postsecondary institutions
and agencies under the direction of the State Board of Education; develops proposed
legislation, policies, regulations, and guidelines to ensure effective operation
and management of the Alabama Community College System; develops and executes strategies
for long-range planning, technical assistance, oversight, and State Board of Education
relations and provides liaison to constituencies that impact institution and agency
roles.
